Stardust

There is a thing called stardust

And if dust I one day be

Though ash to ash and dust to dust

May God make the most of me

Dust does not weight the table

Nor does dust ever tilt the scale

But with little things God’s able

And can use even things that fail

To take the gold or coal dust

Or of an ash make a world brand new

He gave not a promise I cannot trust

But He will do what He says He’ll do

He once took the dust of Eden

And made the first man from the Earth

I learn from His book I read in

How through faith He can make new birth
