I Love to Remember

"Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy." Ex. 20:8

Anyone who plays an instrument knows the importance of tuning. Have you ever heard someone sing or play "out of tune?" (Painful, isn't it?) Many things can cause a piano to get out of tune, but more often than not it is the climate or atmosphere. The worldly atmosphere that surrounds us can cause our heart and spirit to "get out of tune."

When we worship we are being tuned. In worship we are adjusted. When we read the Bible we are tuned, (pray, praise, worship, be part of a good church).

How do we recognize a "good church?"

1. 2 Cor. 3:2-3

2. 2 Cor. 3:12

3. 2 Cor. 9:2

4. 2 Cor. 10:8

5. 2 Cor. 5:11

6. 2 Cor. 8:21

7. 2 Cor. 2:14

We should read, pray, praise every day- but especially on Sunday.

Sunday is the key by which God often adjusts our heart and when we praise Him as a body.

Ps. 122:1 "I was glad when they said…"

Come thou fount… tune my heart to sing thy praise.

OT/ Remember a day- NT / we Remember the Lord of that day-

Jesus said Remember me."

How Can I Get the Most out of Church?
